Each shows an important event of the Revolutionary War and has five stamps within its design. The stamps are valid for postage but were issued mainly for collectors. The Bicentennial Sheets were created for INTERPHIL ’76 – the International Philatelic Exhibition held in Philadelphia, our nation’s birthplace. This was the first time a pane with 50 face-different stamps was issued. Each state is represented by its official flag, with the stamps arranged on the sheet in the order each state was admitted into the Union. Every stamp also has the state’s name, Bicentennial emblem and “BICENTENNIAL ERA 17761976.” The new format proved to be popular with collectors. 1633-82 Bicentennial State Flags 1633-82 13¢ State FlagsSet of 50 Stamps 30.00 19.95 49 Scott Number Mint Used 1686-89 (13¢ to 31¢) 4 Sheets $27.50 $27.50 SM962 Souvenir Sheet Mounts (5).............9.25 1691-94 Declaration of Independence 1691-94 13¢ Declaration of Independence4 Stamps...................... 3.75 .70 1691 13¢ Delegation Members 1.00 .20 1692 13¢ Adams, et al.......... . 1.00 .20 1693 13¢ Jefferson, Franklin, et al. 1.00 .20 1694 13¢ Hancock, Thomson, et al. 1.00 .25 1695-98 Summer & WinterOlympic Games 1699 Clara Maass Birth Centenary 1700 NY Times Publisher 1695-98 13¢ Olympic Games 4 Stamps...................... 3.25 .95 1695 13¢ Diving..................... .85 .25 1696 13¢ Skiing..................... .85 .25 1697 13¢ Running ................. .85 .25 1698 13¢ Skating................... .85 .25 1699 13¢ Clara Maass .......... .65 .20 1700 13¢ Adolph S.
